Hanging Up The Moon

Listening to Sean Lam’s debut of home recordings –Hanging Up The Moon– was a lovely way to start off my day. “I’m from the band, Concave Scream, and it’s been a while since I’ve done anything musically,” he says. “It’s hard to get the band going these days, now that we’re all committed to work and family, so I thought the best way to move forward is to go solo. Even then it’s by no means easy to find the time, hence -Hanging Up The Moon- as most of my recordings are done during ungodly hours, between 2-5am. The music is simple and honest. Pretty much singer songwriter kinda stuff. Being in a band for so long, this is a refreshing change. I also like the fact that I can play these tunes with just one guitar or a ukulele, anytime, anywhere. I’m really enjoying this simplicity for now.

Download the ten-track album here, and let the mellow vibes caress your ears for the rest of the day.
