It took three years for Jimmy Ooi and nine of his friends to produce The Band of Hamsters. “Its not a school project, but rather a project that we were all eager to produce on our own in our spare time,” says Jimmy. “It is a story about ordinary hamsters doing extraordinary tasks. Of how they break out of their cages to fulfill their dreams. Along the way, obstacles are like mountains. They fight their way through. In the end, one of them has to make a choice -give up his dreams to help his buddy or forsaking all and reach out for his goal- …”

21-year-old Jimmy is a Nanyang Polytechnic graduate with a Diploma in Digital Media Design. “I am currently doing my NS, but I would really like to pursue media design in future. More of animation and design actually. I love 2D and 3D animation and I am very much inspired by the pixar Animation and storyline.”
