Banner Shuffle: Djohan Johari

It’s the start of a new month, which means time for a new banner. This month’s contributor is someone who has wowed us with his creations before -Djohan Johari- artist and part-time Visual Comm lecturer at Lasalle.

“My mind’s currently occupied with the album packaging for bands Lunar Node and Amateur Takes Control, remembering basslines for Dear Arson, and I am still surprised, shocked and disappointed by Robinho’s move to Man City. Football interests me more than art. Which brings me to the next point, why is Singapore football doing so bad? We have heaps of homegrown talent here, so why the disappointment?”

Keep your religion personal.
‘Fuck you and the bands you like’ – John Ling
‘You can’t control how you feel, but you can control what you do’. – was reminded by my friend Bli, probably taken off the House show.
‘Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving’. – Albert Einstein.
‘It’s too late to recycle’. – from a Fuct ad in the 90’s.
And most importantly, ‘Be nice to your mother’.
