INVENTORY X TOMGIRL
Cherie Ko: “I used to go thrift shopping a lot in search for that perfect ’60s scooter mini dress. This design sums up everything that I love – exaggerated pointed collar, cinched waist, and that great mini length.” Ted Doré: “I’ve always been a fan of ’50s inspired fashion and I love the styling of vintage bowling and mechanic shirts of that era. So I wanted to create a design that had a very basic take on those styles.”
Even if you already have stacks of shirts stashed in your wardrobe, there is always room for a piece with a little more swagger. In an ongoing shirt project, INVENTORY invites creatives from different disciplines to give a spin to the classic shirt, and create a piece that meets their everyday needs. With unexpected detailing, added attitude and some styling tricks, the new iterations of the closet classic are cool enough to feel current.
