If you’ve attended the Sole Superior bash, you’ll already be au fait with the work of Illustrator/Designer Tuck Wai. Yup, that’s correct … he designed this year’s event poster.

Tuck works from his home studio – Hoyeah – and his illustrations are motivated by his love for skating. “To me, skateboarding is like a form of martial arts and my weapon is my board.”

Tuck’s dream … to expand his studio, install a mini ramp and turn his workplace into a veritable playground of around-the-clock skating and illustrating.

Today we are previewing his new work, the Temple of Skate. Tuck: “The Temple of Skate is a place filled with ancient Chinese monks and skeletal warriors riding skateboards. It’s a place where cultures collide and everyone skates.”

Sweet!
