Corrupted Purity by Wen Hui

Wen Hui is a final year Motion Graphics and Broadcast Design student from Nanyang Polytechnic, and through her series of Corrupted Purity, she documents the contents of her kitchen in all its decaying glory.

“The concept around this is titled “Corrupted Purity”, which means, despite the decaying appearance, there is a sense of beauty and wonder in it. In this project, I have experimented by keeping agar plates with different bacteria for weeks, and storing vegetables till they decay. It was a fun and exciting project, as there are many unexpected moments.”
