Today we check out some crisp work by illustrator and craft maker Marina A, a Visual Communications major from ADM, NTU. Marina has digital and traditional paintings, illustrated portraits and photography in her portfolio, but it’s the featured work that has caught our attention.
“My current style involves bending reality by creating gender ambiguous characters in a surreal setting. I believe that the blend between the two allows me to create a physical manifestation of the emotions that I want to portray. My main source of inspiration usually comes from biology, astrophysics, and dreams. I think science is a great source of inspiration because it is a field that complements art.”
