Spotted! Wu Yanrong

Step into a world of tattoos and sea creatures with illustrator and graphic designer Wu Yanrong. Yanrong graduated with a BA in Communication Design from RMIT Melbourne back in December and counts Peter Pan, Spirited Away and Paprika as a source of inspiration.

“刺身。 is an ongoing project tattooing seafood onto body parts. The word “刺身” (kanji for sashimi) means “pierced body” and bears a close resemblance to “刺青”, which means tattoo in Chinese.”
