It ’s all about the ‘WE’ at Workshop Element

How many all-local labels can you pack into a new retail pop-up store? A lot, if it’s Workshop Element (W.E.). The shop, located on the third floor at Wisma Atria, officially launched on 17 August and presents an ensemble of 19 brands and 16 designers/curators.

A motley crew of veterans like Mu/AWOL’s Alfie Leong, Womb’s K.Mi and Woon Choor are firmly ensconced in their customized corners alongside young, prolific names like Elohim and Reckless Erika, and new upstarts like Sceneplicity and Laark.

Seeking to find an outlet and opportunity for a variety of local fashion designers to showcase their works in a curated space, industry veteran Alfie Leong took on the challenge when the right opportunity presented itself. With a culmination of more than 20 years of experience as a designer as well as a judge on various fashion shows and events, this project represents his passionate drive to give back, inspire and inculcate the values that have served him well over the years.

Visit W.E. at Wisma Atria, #03-16 to #03-49, 435 Orchard Road.
