Spotted! Dey Irfan Adianto

I came across Dey Irfan‘s work at the Art Garage: Art The Hall exhibition. I liked his watercolors so much I decided to find out some more about the Singapore based artist.

Irfan was trained as a sculptor, working with paper, wood, and metal. Strangely enough after graduation, he turned his hand to watercolors, developing his own visual style. “I started doing portraits and gradually moved onto abstractions of animals and natural forms. My topics vary greatly from societal happenings to personal stories.”
