Spotted! Justin Tan

Justin Tan did well at Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Design, and in 2009 he graduated as the top student with a Diploma in Creative Media Design. That year alone, he managed to take home several awards such as the Model Student Award, the Singapore Polytechnic Institutional Medal, the Chua Chor Teck Gold Medal, as well as a number of awards for his photography and design work at the Crowbar Awards.  In 2008, he had the opportunity to intern at Yahoo! India (Bangalore), working on web projects dealing with User Experience.  He also represented his school for the Portfolio Show organised by the DesignSingapore Council.

“I used to work as an art director/photographer for ‘The Student Agency‘ in my Polytechnic days. During that time I had the opportunity to experience industry practice through my engagement in live projects such as the Singapore Polytechnic Open House Campaigns, Anything Can design and other branding projects. I am still working at The Student Agency today, waiting to further my studies at RMIT, Melbourne, BA of Design (Communication Design).”
