On The Street: Exhibition | La Mode Outré

Singapore based streetstyle photography site La Mode Outré is having an exhibition of large size streetstyle photos at the popular indie art hangout The Pigeonhole Café. La Mode Outré has been running since February 2010, mainly capturing fashionable, edgy and arty styled individuals on our streets. The site is run by photographer, writer and L&D Consultant James Bent, a 32 year old British traveller who’s been in Singapore since January of 2010.

In addition to roaming the streets of Singapore, James is now taking La Mode Outré across Asia, stopping in at cities such as Bangkok, KL, Tokyo and Taipei – with Seoul, HK and Shanghai to come next – creating a true Asian streetstyle site. So far the site has been featured on various international publications, and has had feature walls in Haji Lane boutique K.I.N. and The Cat Socrates boutique.

This exhibition has been curated to show off a selection of streetstyle photographs from La Mode Outré in A0 and A1 size, while working in with the indie/art theme of The Pigeonhole Café. It’s running from August 5th through the 19th during normal opening hours of the café, and on August 4th from 7pm there’s an open invitation preview party – RSVP to contact@lamodeoutre.com.
