i-am deciphered

Opening tomorrow at Post-Museum is i-AM deciphered, a visual art exhibition that embraces the birth of a new imaginative art form of Contemporary Art, and breathes in the combined beauty of poetry and visual pleasures.

Strongly focusing on new media works, i-AM deciphered revolves around a newly composed poem by established Singaporean poet, Bani Haykal. Forging a marriage between the literary arts and visual arts, as the poem is then further translated into its visual form with the help of some of Singapore’s most prominent rising stars and practicing artists, such as President’s Young Talents 2009 Award recipients; Vertical Submarine, German Art Technology programmer; Andreas Schegel, critically acclaimed sound artist; Max Lane, prodigal 16-year-old photographer, Cheryl Heilmann and many more.

i-AM deciphered continues through 31 March at Post-Museum, 107 Rowell Road.
