Below: Collab between Sdmn and clogtwo.

Sandman -aka Sdmn- started painting graff a decade ago, and has since spawned a big following both locally and internationally. Over the years, he has become a rather proficient urban artist, and has worked in a variety of mediums, although spray-paint remains his first choice.

His works -often dubbed as freaky, but in a good way- have become familiar aspects of Singapore’s back alleys and laneways. Sandman represents ZincNite Crew and Phobia Klik, and co-founded the Art School Rejexts, a local lowbrow art movement collective.

About his work: “My current work is based on a future where life as we know it has ceased to exist. The juxtaposition of this futuristic subject and deteriorating building walls highlights the tension between technological advancement and the commodities it leaves behind.”
