Kin Shiotani

Illustrator and poet, Kin Shiotani continues to impress us with his unforgettable style, language, and attitude of mind towards living. Kin’s first time exhibition in Singapore will introduce his wide range of works from 77 postcards with long and poetic titles to self-portraits and everyday lives sceneries that he’s encountered. His activities ranges from designing postcards to providing illustrations for the covers of school textbooks and book wraps for a bookstore. Opening Performance: 22 Oct at 8pm. Door opens at 7pm. Performed by Kin Shiotani in collaboration with musicians Chong Li-Chuan & Tan Shzr EeHe, this unique style performance called “Drawing Theatre” is an improvisational painting stage where Kin draws pictures and composes poetic narratives in the presence of the audience. 22 Oct till 04 Nov at Night & Day Bar, 139A/C Selegie Road.
