NOISE: Submit!

Noise Singapore is back to get you spotted for your creative talents! So if you’ve got any works of art and design, music or photography that you’re just dying to be recognized for, log on to and get your stuff on before 1 November. You just might find yourself exhibiting at the Noise showcase exhibition, interning at a top creative agency, participating at an arts festival in Tokyo, or featured at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games events. To top it all off, the most creative youth from each of the three categories will win a $5,000 grant!

Noise Singapore is also a festival partner of next year’s inaugural Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games. This means that your artworks could be showcased as part of visual installations at various Singapore 2010 events and venues for the world to see. All you have to do is submit your works along the theme of “Celebration” in the categories of art and design, photography and music to by 1 November. On top of the international exposure, you could win attractive prizes worth up to $3,000 each, and be featured in the Noise Singapore Festival Showcase!

The Apprenticeship Programme (TAP) is back with more developmental opportunities and some of the biggest names in the creative industries such as DJ Aldrin, Kelvin Chan and Tan Ngiap Heng.  TAP provides aspiring artists and musicians a leg up into the creative industries. Bands and soloists have gone on to cut albums after their TAP stints, while artists and designers have landed jobs as a result of the exposure and opportunities provided by TAP. Apprentices will be able to learn comprehensively from their mentors, have their individual TAP finale project featured at the Noise Festival Showcase, and be showcased at the inaugural Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games! Apply at before 27 Sep 2009.
