M1 Fringe Festival: Musica Familia
In praise of clutter in the household, Chong Li-Chuan investigates into the conversations to be had with them, the stories they have for us, and perhaps answers to questions such as “Why are they here?” “Who invited them?” “Are they happy with everyone in the family?” Taking his cue from French philosopher Roger-Pol Droit’s How Are Things? – A Philosophical Experiment, Chuan conducts a series of interviews with 25 things found in his family’s living room. These conversations will be weaved into a sonic tapestry as Musica Familia for posterity. 10 Jan, 7.30pm at the Esplanade Recital Studio. Admission: $19.
