The Dada Record: eeshaun

Hello my name is eeshaun and I live in Gardensilly. I am a self-taught illustrator who enjoys the unexpected twists and surprises in drawing and painting. I also do graphics and murals and I love chicken rice and bubble tea.
eeshaun has freelanced as a graphic designer and layout artist for MTV, Nickelodeon, National Youth Council, and has produced illustrations for SPUNK magazine, Playtimes, Project 1819, and more - with his work exhibited at Design 20/20 and a new show coming up in 2008 at Night & Day gallery.

Bag Lady by Erykah Badu
I love Erykah Badu’s style and rhythm and Bag Lady has quirky lyrics and a very catchy tune.
Fast Love by George Michael
George Michael is one of my favourite artists, and the entire Older album is one of my all time favourites. Fast Love is one of the best dance tracks ever next to Spinning The Wheel.
Signs by Justin Timberlake and Snoop Dogg
I like the fact that three people are collaborating on this track. I really like Justin’s dance moves in the video.
What’s Going On by Marvin Gaye
This song just gets me grooving, and Marvin sings it with a lot of soul. The song is about not fighting and loving everyone, so it also carries a social message, which I like.
Send it On by D’angelo
This track is very sensuous. I only found out much later that D’angelo sampled a tune from Earth, Wind and Fire for this track. They are also one of my favourite funk bands.
Every Wednesday, Culturepush presents The Dada Record, a weekly post for artists to share the music that gets their creative juices flowing.
