The Dada Record: Tomaz Goh

Hi, my name is Tomaz Goh and I’m the founder of rehybrid®, a creative studio project specialised in design, illustration and Art Direction. I’ve since been actively involved and participated in local and international creative initiatives. Recently my work has been featured in Creative Review, Semi-Permanent 07 Book and Tiger Translate. Rehybrid® signifies the creative diversity that involves and evolves throughout the process. I believe in fluidity and constant shifting in your creative pilgrim, to challenge and experiment and bring new meaning and dimension into my work.

Pantomime by Incubus
I’ve been a huge fan of Incubus since my school days. Their eccentric, non-linear approach in music always manages to inspire me . This song is one of my all-time favourites.
The Pretender by Foo Fighters
Exudes the kind of raw energy and vocal harmonies that most band have lost ground with. Brilliant!
All You Do is Talk by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Old-school rock n’ roll with melodic elements. Reminds you of the good old days…
505 by Arctic Monkeys
The band has really amused me with their in-depth musical and lyrical compositions. Nowadays bands will just settle with some taunting vocals and playing some emo tunes, but Arctic Monkeys offer far more than that.
Evidence by Marilyn Manson
With his over the top appearance and antics, Manson has always been overlooked as a serious musician. In this song/album, he manages to tighten the songs even better, creating a more emotional and provoking experience than ever before.
Every Wednesday, Culturepush presents The Dada Record, a weekly post for artists to share the music that gets their creative juices flowing.
